Federal Budget 2013-14 highlights

The newly formed Government of Pakistan Muslim League (N) has announced the Federal Budget 2013-14, giving its economic vision to put the country on the track of economic development. There are many challenges for the government, and to overcome these some important decisions have been taken in the budget. Government has vowed to control unnecessary expenditures and to increase the revenue setting higher tax targets. Finance Minister has announced that problem of circular debt will be resolved within 60 days to control load shedding in the country which is creating a negative impact on the industrial production and on the lives of people of Pakistan.

While announcing the Federal Budget, it was said that professional management shall be inducted in the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to bring efficiency and to turn these loss making organizations into profitable one.

PML(N) like its last regime shall has allocated a big amount on public sector development.
