Global Entrepreneurship Week – A one day seminar “Inspiring a new wave of Entrepreneurs” – November 15

Young Entrepreneurs Forum (YEF) of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Pakistan, a group of young entrepreneurs who have come together to help promote “Entrepreneurship Culture” feels that potent message of entrepreneurship needs to be widely brought to the fore, particularly in youngsters who may be the potential entrepreneurs of the future that represent about 60% of the total population of the country. In order to convert this population base into an asset for the nation it is imperative to churn out entrepreneurs and create more jobs to help reduce poverty by moving forward towards economic freedom.

In line with this philosophy, YEF along with Kauffman Foundations’ initiative of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) are organizing a one day seminar on November 15^th at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad, titled “Inspiring a New Wave of Entrepreneurs” bringing together young entrepreneurs, students from academia, corporate leaders, media, NGOs, donor organizations, Government institutions and Think Tanks, focusing on Entrepreneurial education, Technology for promoting entrepreneurship, Policy reforms, Role of Social entrepreneurship in business development.

There is lot to offer to create a strong and vibrant civil society, hardworking and talented people, enterprising and innovative business people, a free media and a lively arts and music scene. These enabling factors will make this event an enduring success producing actionable results and will hopefully inspire a new wave of Entrepreneurs.
